About Diana

My name is Diana Nguyen and I provide individual therapy to women and mothers in Irvine, CA.

Education

I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of California Irvine and obtained my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California.

Experience

In addition to my private practice, I am currently a staff Social Worker for the Department of Veterans Affairs where I have the honor of working with Veterans from all eras and their families, connecting them to healthcare services and resources. Prior to that, I’ve worked with undergraduate and graduate students from the University of California Irvine and spent some time working in community mental health.

Along with running Strides in Therapy in Irvine, I am a wife and mother to three kiddos under the ages of 10. I also have golden doodle that I hope to be able to incorporate in my practice as a therapy dog one day. Boy, do I know what it feels like to feel stretched and you’re doing your best but yet, still feel like you’re failing at the same time. It’s something that even I, as a therapist, have to continuously work on everyday in accepting that there are days where I will kick butt at doing and rocking life and then there are days where life will kick me in the butt AND that is OKAY. I’m still standing and that’s what matters to me.

In My Spare Time

I enjoy running marathons (Chicago by far is still my favorite), traveling, finding and exchanging memes with friends and family, drinking boba, Disneyland, and reading.
